At Stirling we are interested in the interconnection between theory, policy and practice for social enterprises and third sector organisations. Theory, policy and practice are interrelated areas of development in which we position our activities, involving research, knowledge transfer, teaching and learning. Taken together, theory, policy and practice reflect strong emphasis on the interconnection between the construction of a scientific approach to social enterprise and the third sector on the one hand, and issues that matter for societies and their economies on the other.
